Thanks for visiting Easy Basic Photography. The information here is geared towards beginners through serious
amateurs who want to learn a little more about basic digital photography. It doesn't make a difference if you own
a point and shoot compact digital camera, a digital single lens reflex camera, or if you are just thinking about
buying a camera. There is something for here for most non-professionals.
I photographed weddings and various social events for many years, but the content included on this site is to
help everyday photographers take better pictures and have fun while doing it.
The goal is to provide a simple and easy platform with information concerning basic photography. Photography
should be fun so we wont spoil it with any "deep" scientific theories or overcomplicated photography techniques.
However, since this is a photography website, we do cover the basics of how a digital camera works and the
functions of its major parts. Understanding what is happening inside the camera when you press the shutter
button can help you make better decisions when you take a picture. We also cover basic composition of
pictures, different types of cameras, and include examples of the various techniques discussed.
